What we want
We're seeking a Multimedia Project Coordinator who will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that align with Texas A&M Athletics' overall strategic priorities, with a specific focus on Men’s and Women’s Basketball. This role will manage the creation and distribution of content across various social media platforms, ensuring brand consistency while enhancing fan engagement and building a loyal community. The Multimedia Project Coordinator will assist with graphic design, maintaining brand guidelines, and mentoring a student workforce to enhance productivity. By staying current with social and digital trends, this role will leverage best practices and adjust strategies based on performance metrics, ensuring the continued growth and success of Texas A&M Athletics' social media presence.

Essential Duties/Tasks
Content Management:
Assist with overseeing Texas A&M Athletics social media accounts, with a primary focus on men’s and women’s basketball, ensuring relevant and timely posts that maintain brand consistency.
Collaborate in creating and executing social media strategies that align with Texas A&M Athletics’ overarching goals and principles.
Support the creation of captivating content across all platforms.
Monitor social media channels, engaging with fans, and staying current with social and digital trends, this role helps adjust strategies based on metrics, fostering a loyal community and supporting our overall mission and goals.
Assist with graphic design by updating and maintaining templates in Photoshop for use in social media content.
Monitor social media channels for engagement opportunities and respond to fan inquiries and comments as needed.
Collaboration:
Build relationships with coaches, staff, and other departments to address needs for front-facing social media content.
Act as a liaison between 12th Man Creative, Athletics Communication, and 12th Man Productions to ensure cohesive content strategy and execution.
Supervision:
Supervise and mentor a student workforce to help execute social media content.
Oversee the daily activities of the social media team, ensuring efficient workflow and content posting.
Trends:
Maintain an awareness of social and digital trends and best practices.
Analyze social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of content and adjust strategies as needed.
Compliance:
Maintain thorough familiarity with all applicable NCAA, Conference, and University rules and regulations.
Ensure communication and enforcement of rules and regulations for all supervised staff members and student workers.
