The Notre Dame Sports Nutrition team is accepting applications for Sports Nutrition Temp Workers. Under the direction of the sports dietitians, the temp will gain experience working in the collegiate nutrition setting and assist the Nutrition Department.
The temp worker will work varying hours each week including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays. Daily shifts include 5:00am-9:00am, 9:00am-1:00pm, 1:00pm-5:00pm, and 5:00pm-8:00pm, with priority and high-need for those with 9:00am-1:00pm and 1:00pm-5:00pm availability.
The temp position spans the entire Fall semester with the opportunity to continue into the Spring pending performance. This is an hourly paid position offering $15/hour. Minimum of 7 hours per week commitment required. Ideal availability 10-35 hours/week. Priority given towards those with more availability. Benefits are

Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities fall under foodservice and nutrition. Duties include but are not limited to:
Helping with operations, stocking, and cleaning of major fueling spaces.
Assisting in the everyday management and inventory of all foods, fluids, and products in the fueling stations and storage areas.
Making protein shakes, smoothies, and other snacks for student-athletes.
Restocking fueling stations in different athletic facilities. Ex: fridges, snack shelves, cabinets, etc.
Assisting team dietitians with various tasks, such as making travel snack bags and recipe testing.
Putting away food and beverage deliveries, maintaining a clean and sanitary environment, and organizing inventory.
Helping with all sports practice and lift needs (includes making snacks, smoothies and setting up snack carts/boxes).
Assisting RDs with receiving meal deliveries and setting up.
Additional tasks as assigned (requires flexibility and adaptability)
Attention to details and great communication skills are critical.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks at one time and maintain professionalism.
Ability to work as part of a team and possess a friendly demeanor.
Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
Valid Driver’s License
Ability to work a non-traditional work week; including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Previous food service experience or passion for nutrition
