The University of Missouri Athletics Department is seeking a dedicated and experienced Olympic Sports Dietitian to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive nutrition services to our student-athletes, with a focus on optimizing performance, recovery, and overall health.

Develop and implement evidence-based nutrition plans tailored to the needs of individual athletes and teams.
Conduct nutritional assessments and create personalized meal plans.
Educate athletes on optimal nutrition for performance, recovery, and general health.
Collaborate with coaches, athletic trainers, and other sports medicine staff to integrate nutrition into the overall training program.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition interventions and make necessary adjustments.
Plan and conduct nutrition education sessions and workshops for athletes and staff.
Provide support during travel, including meal planning and dietary supplementation.
Stay current with the latest research and trends in sports nutrition and apply findings to practice.
Ensure compliance with NCAA, conference, and university regulations and guidelines.
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; Nights, Weekends, and Travel as required.
Dietitian licensure from the Missouri Committee of Dietitians board.
Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree
Salary Range: $50,000-55,000
Grade: PAT-08
