Apply NowFlorida Atlantic University is seeking an Olympic Sports Equipment Manager - Boca Raton, FL.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Oversees the overall operation of the athletics equipment room which involves the ordering, tracking, and receiving of equipment and apparel for all Olympic Sports.
Checks equipment out to athletes at the beginning of the year and receives the equipment back from the athletes at the conclusion of the year.
Maintains a running inventory of the items distributed to and collected from each athlete and coach.
Maintains and reconditions all equipment for their respective sports.
Ensures that all athletes have their necessary apparel and equipment for practices, home competitions, and away competitions.
Collects, cleans, and redistributes laundry for each of their teams.
Understands and follows the rules and regulations of the NCAA, Conference USA and University Policies and Procedures.
Focus on Olympic Sports, oversees everyday aspects of the equipment room including the supervision of staff members and interns.
Supervise the staff in the equipment room, including full-time employees, student managers, volunteers, and intern.
Ordering, sizing, issuing, and overseeing all Olympic Sport needs as well as overseeing the ordering.
Direct, plan, organize and implement the equipment room functions.
Oversee, facilitate, and maintain the department's relationship/contract with Adidas.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
