The Olympic Sports Fellow / Strength & Conditioning will assist all strength and conditioning personnel to implement the strategic plan of strength and conditioning to enhance student athlete experiences in each Olympic Sport within Virginia Tech's Athletic Department. This position will report directly to the Sr. Director / Strength and Conditioning.
Required Qualifications
Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist National Strength and Conditioning Association
OR
Strength & conditioning Coach Certified Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association.
CPR/AED certified.
Commitment to promote an atmosphere of compliance and adherence to institutional, conference and knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusivity.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in exercise science, sports administration or other sports/exercise related field.
Previous experience in Division 1 collegiate athletics or professional Strength and Conditioning setting.
