Job Summary

Position will help facilitate and oversee events hosted by external entities that take place on Drexel University Athletic Facilities. This person will work under the supervision of the Associate Athletics Director.

Essential Functions

• Serve as event manager for designated athletics events at Daskalakis Athletic Center, Drexel Recreation Center & Vidas Athletic Complex. Supervision of student staff for specific events.
• Responsible for a variety of tasks related to the successful production of both athletic and non-athletic events held in or on athletic facilities, including but not limited to field preparations, event set-ups, concurrent event management, and event take-down.
• Assist with on-field/court activities as needed.
• Providing exceptional customer service on event day.
• Check-in and work with public safety, police, and student staff as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in facility and event management or experience/participation in intercollegiates.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Sports Management.
• Ability to adapt to fast paced environment.

Physical Demands

• Ability to bend, crouch, stoop.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
