POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

The University Athletic Association at the University of Florida is looking for an individual to work as a temporary Turf Groundskeeper. This position will work on preparing athletic fields for the competition seasons. Exposure to outside elements and some heavy lifting will be required. This position will be posted until filled.

This position will work on preparing athletic fields for the competition seasons. Exposure to outside elements and some heavy lifting will be required. This position will be posted until filled.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

REQUIREMENTS:

18 years of age

High school diploma or GED equivalent

General knowledge and experience with the following equipment in order to complete tasks; mower, weed eater, edger and backpack blower.

Ability to lift up to 50lbs

The ability to engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds is essential.

A valid driver’s license

The ability to work a non-standard work schedule that will include evenings, weekends and holidays

This is a part-time position with no associated benefits.

Interviews may be conducted prior to the closing date, but no offer of employment will be extended until after the position closes.
