Job Summary:

Provide Athletic Training Services to a local high school/college in coordination with physicians at Upstate Orthopedics.

-Available after school hours and weekends to provide care to student athletes during games and practices
- Provide home game coverage to assigned school.
-Travel with Varsity Football and other high risk sports to away games.
-Provide care in injury prevention, evaluation and rehabilitation of injuries, first aid, and emergency care.
-Documentation of Injuries/Illness via EMR
-Assist Athletic Director as needed/per their instruction
-Proper Referral to overseeing Physician
-Abide by standing orders with Physician and scope of practice in NYS

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and certification by the BOC (Board of Certification).

Must have BOC Athletic Trainers Certification by start date (new grads encouraged to apply)
