Position Summary and Qualifications:
Part-Time Assistant Coach/Instructor participates in coaching and instructing student-athletes who are members of the university’s intercollegiate men and women’s tennis programs.
Coach/instruct student-athletes in the tennis program.
Evaluate student-athlete skills; create and execute appropriate lessons to develop those skills through hands-on instruction.
Provide regular feedback to students about their athletic performance.
Participate in scouting; assist with practice and game planning.
Work collaboratively with the head and assistant coach and team support staff to mentor and develop student-athletes on and off the court.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
Must have strong interpersonal skills including good oral and written communication abilities

Intercollegiate playing or coaching experienceÂ
Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours:
Ability to participate and/or demonstrate drillsÂ
Some travel, nights and weekends related to competition
