Job Description

Carnegie Mellon University’s department of Athletics is searching for a Part-Time Assistant Football Coach (Offense)in its NCAA Division III program. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment. You will contribute to the department by providing assistance to the head coach with all aspects of the football program. This position is anticipated to work August 1-November 31, 2024 and March 1-April 30, 2025.

Core responsibilities will include:

  • Demonstrating competency in sport skill instruction

  • Motivation and ability to conduct practice sessions under the direction of the head coach

  • Recruiter under the direction of the head coach

  • Demonstrate sincere interest in personal, academic, and athletic progress of student-athletes

  • Exhibit supportive and cooperative behavior pursuing sport programs goals set by head coach

  • Demonstrate leadership ability and professional behavior when working with student-athletes

  • Other duties as assigned
