Assistants also help with activities that keep players healthy and strong, such as nutrition advice, weight training and strength training.
  2. Organize, Supervise, Strategize – The head coach often assigns specific duties to the assistant, which may involve ordering and keeping track of equipment, fundraising, media relations/alumni relations, organizing the team’s schedule and travel, keeping player files, and assuring that players are in compliance with all rules set by the school and all athletic governing bodies. Assistants may also explain game strategies and specific plays to the team and help them practice those plays. She also operates and explains training strategy videos.
