POSITION CLASSIFICATION: Part Time, Exempt
POSITIONS SUPERVISED: Volunteer or Graduate Assistant & Student Assistant Coaches if they are present as part of the coaching staff.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The Part-Time Head Coach of Cheer is responsible for all functions normally associated with an intercollegiate athletics program, including sideline cheer performance at Athletic and other special events. This position, even though part-time, will be bound by the university and the athletic department mission statements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Four-year college degree preferred
Experience and Knowledge:
College-level participation in cheer and dance and head coaching experience is preferred.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Employment is subject to an introductory period to monitor employee performance. If hired, the prospective employee must present documentation within three (3) days of the hire date to establish their identity and employment eligibility as required by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Employees must be able and willing to travel and work on weekends and evenings. Must be able to operate a licensed motor vehicle, have access to a dependable motor vehicle, and possess a valid state driver’s license. Must have and maintain a satisfactory driver’s record.
