This posting is for a part-time, non-benefited, 10-month, 19 hours per week, non-exempt position. The PulseTV Assistant Manager will primarily be responsible for directing the livestream broadcasts of University of Findlay athletic events. This position will have supervisory responsibilities for student employees.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment, as well as an athletic setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, & photocopiers, but also requires the use of broadcast-specific equipment and software. Examples of the latter include: video cameras, micro phones, audio mixers, and programs such as vMix & Production Truck.
Physical Demands
The PulseTV assistant manager will need to be able to transport equipment to and from athletic sites both on-campus and off-campus. The job also requires climbing numerous stairs and the occasional ladder to access broadcast positions. Long stretches of sitting will be common once the broadcasts are underway.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a 10-month part-time, 19 hours per week, non-benefited, non-exempt position eligible for up to 999 hours per year, mostly during the academic year (late August – early May).
Travel
Minimal travel is expected for this position. A valid US Drivers’ license with a safe driving record is required.
Required Education and Experience
1. Six months experience in broadcasting or livestreaming of athletic events
