Job Description:

Franklin & Marshall College is recruiting for a full-time Performance Enhancement Coach. 

Job Details:

• Location : F&M Campus - Lancaster, PA
• Classification : Full-time, Exempt
• Schedule : 40 hours, Monday - Friday. Evenings and weekends may be required.
• Reports to : Associate Director of Athletics Operations & Facilities
• Department : Athletics & Recreation
• Approved Salary Range : $48,400 - $52,500

Job Description:

The Performance Enhancement Coach is responsible for enhancing the competitive performance of intercollegiate student-athletes and reducing injury risk by implementing injury prevention programs focusing on strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance.

Essential Functions:

• Develop and implement strength & conditioning training programs; create/direct sport-specific and gender specific speed, strength and agility workouts for varsity athletic teams.
• Provide strength & conditioning educational sessions to varsity/club/recreation participants, as well as general users of athletics facilities. 
• Work with the Athletic Training Staff to implement injury prevention programs and coordinate rehabilitation protocols following an injury. 
• Provide Head Coaches with analytical feedback on individual performance metrics and injury rates. 
• Manage strength and fitness facilities and supervise student employees. 
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Biomechanics, exercise science, or related field.
• At least 1 years of relevant experience working in Intercollegiate Athletics.
• First-aid & CPR certifications.
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
• Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Google Suite Products (Docs, Gmail, Sheets, Slides, Drive)
• Ability and willingness to provide excellent service and to work in a collegial manner with students, faculty and staff, and other constituencies is essential.
• Evidence of a commitment to community & belonging.
• Valid driver's license.
• Successful interview.
• Successful completion of background checks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CSCS from NCSA; or SCCC from CSCCa.
• Experience working at Liberal Arts College.

Additional Information:
