GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
The Athletics Physical Therapist position is a 10-month, full-time workload in line with the undergraduate student-athlete calendar (mid-July to mid-May as set annually by the Director of Sports Medicine). The Athletics Physical Therapist will operate the PT clinic for Pacific student-athletes referred through the sports medicine team including the team physician and orthopedic surgeon.
Opportunities to work in Pacific University run clinics during off months may be available as well.

The incumbent will follow established practices and procedures. Duties are performed as expected from an independent practitioner and work is checked or verified visually, orally and in writing on a frequent basis. Decisions are made within specific operational instructions and consistent with the Pacific University Healthcare system guidelines.
SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITY:
This position is not supervisory in nature.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & BEHAVIORS:
WORKING CONDITIONS: The Athletic Physical Therapy Clinic is an outpatient practice. Vacation and time off schedules are particular to this position and school/athletics calendar optimization as approved by Director of Sports Medicine.
Essential Functions: All Essential Functions should be able to be completed in highly complex and distracting environments and within time frames consistent with current clinical practice.
