JOB SUMMARY

The University of Connecticut is accepting applications and nominations for the full-time position of Player Development Assistant for Men’s Basketball.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include: On Court Coach in Practice; Video analysis of opponent game film; development of analytics program used to evaluate player performance for the team and opponent scouting; assist in the development of recruiting materials; assist the head coach with development and execution of daily team practices or skill development sessions; and other program duties as assigned by the Head Men’s Basketball Coach.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Two to three years’ experience working in a Division I men’s basketball program.
  • Previous experience assisting in the coordination and organization of official and unofficial recruiting visits.
  • An understanding of the correct application of NCAA regulations.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills required.
