Actively contributes as a member of the softball management team with core responsibility for creating and delivering programs to support and develop life skills for student athletes. Work closely with academic services. Work in correlation with coaching staff to mentor student athletes to ensure success while dealing with the pressures associated with college life and athletics. Coordinates and organizes various aspects of the OSU Softball Program under the general direction of the Head Coach and the Assistant Athletic Director.
Travel is required in performing this job: In and Out-of-state team travel and various athletic functions throughout the year. circumstances will arise that make it necessary for employee to be able to work weekends and evenings during annual events, i.e.: recruiting weekends, game days, clinics, etc.
Due to communication expectations of the position, the incumbent will be required to maintain a cellular or other electronic communication device. The incumbent's salary includes compensation to apply toward the use of their personal cellular device.

Education & Experience
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree inBusiness, Sports Administration, or a related field.
One year of playing and/or coaching experience at NCAA Division 1 level. Knowledge of NCAA rules as it pertains to college softball.
Excellent management and organizational skills. Excellent personal and communication skills. Willing to travel and work unusual hours
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree
Playing experience at the NCAA D1 level
