The University Athletic Association at the University Athletic Association is searching for an intern to assist the Softball department in various aspects of video production and analytics. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to video analysis for practice and game day operations, including the breakdown of game video. Edits video for internal use of special video products. Travels with the team for scouting reports on opponents and creates scouting reports by use of data and video.

This is a time-limited position with an option for a second year if essential criteria are met.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED

Experience filming team practices/games

Experience with intercollegiate Softball/Baseball and a working knowledge of the sport

Knowledge of analytics and data analysis

Knowledge of macOS operating systems and managing iOS devices

Ability to engage effectively with others of diverse cultures or backgrounds

Ability to work a non-standard work week which will include evenings, weekends, holidays and extensive overnight travel

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Dartfish, Synergy, Adobe Creative Cloud, Final Cut Pro, and/or Adobe Premier Plus

Knowledge of data resource management (including policies/procedures to ensure safe/successful data storage/transfer, and digital mediums and how to convert between them)

Additional on the job training will be provided to candidates who meet the minimum qualifications for this position. Please note this is a non-coaching position.
