Athletics Marketing Game Day Crew

JOB PURPOSE:   

The Wyoming Athletics Game Day Crew is part of the Marketing and Fan Experience team for home Cowboys and Cowgirls games. We are looking for upbeat students to assist in pre-game promotional efforts at football as well as marketing and fan experience efforts at other Wyoming Athletics events, with a focus on men’s and women’s basketball. 

The Game Day Crew will assist in the successful execution of fan giveaways, Kids Zone, and other pregame promotions. The overall goal of the Game Day crew is to ensure fans have a memorable experience. The ideal Game Day Crew member is energetic, professional, entertaining, friendly, and approachable. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Interact with fans and student section throughout pregame to promote the Wyoming Athletics brand and enhance the fan experience 
• Welcome and engage with fans upon entering the venue and distribute any giveaways in a positive and professional manner 
• Help with Kids Zone in the Pepsi Pregame Zone and Cowboy Walk for home football games 
• Always represent Wyoming Athletics in a positive, enthusiastic, and professional manner 
• Assist the Fan Experience team in creating an upbeat and lively atmosphere at Wyoming Athletics events through promotions, cheers, and other measures 
• Other duties as assigned 

REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY: 

This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Education:  High School Diploma 
• Must be available to work all home football games and select men’s and women’s basketball games for the 2022-23 school year 
• Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) that is compliant with the University Vehicle Use Policy. 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:   

• Ability to work in a time-sensitive, team-oriented environment 
• Must have high energy, be enthusiastic and display positivity around the Wyoming Athletics Brand 
• Must have the ability to remain on your feet and perform athletic activities for extended periods of time 
• Must be reliable, punctual, courteous and have good listening and multi-tasking skills 
• Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate with members of the public 
• Must be available to work all home football games and select men’s and women’s basketball games for the 2022-23 school year 
• Must be available to arrive a few hours before each game time
