The Producer, Featured Content role will work within the award-winning Fighting Irish Media (
FIM
) Department, and will help contribute to the strategic direction for long form video content creation across the entire Notre Dame Athletics department. This position will play a large role in shooting/editing content for the Notre Dame Football follow documentary to air on Peacock. They will assist the Assistant Athletic Director for Production and the Lead Producer (Features) in the ideation, planning and execution of content related to the documentary, as well as feature content across all 26 of our varsity sports.
Essential Duties:
This role will serve as a producer on the Notre Dame Football follow documentary to air on Peacock
This role will work on video creation of feature content pieces across all 26 sports for a variety of our sponsors/supporters as well as for future revenue generating opportunities
Assist in maintaining production equipment (outside of Live Event equipment). That includes: video cameras, lighting equipment, audio equipment, production props, etc.
This individual should be an exceptional communicator, have an in-depth understanding of all video production needs. That includes, but is not limited to,
ENG
camera operator, Adobe Suite (special emphasis on Premier Pro & After Effects), lighting, audio, and staging. Experience in all aspects of video projects. Experience with professional camera work, multiple editing suites, lighting, audio and full gamut of production roles. In depth understanding of content consumption trends.
This position has decision making abilities that affect the department and has a dotted line to other producers on staff. The Lead Producer will be depended on for strong organizational and communication skills. A collaborative style and the ability to work effectively within a diverse population is required. Strong writing background preferred. This position is also required to work nights and weekends during athletic seasons as necessary. Compliance with

and ND rules and regulations is non-negotiable.
Bachelor’s degree (4 years)
3+ years of college/professional/network video/content production, preferably working with long-form content (minimum)
High level knowledge in all aspects of video production; including but not limited to,
ENG
camera operation, non-linear video editing, lighting, audio, and staging
