ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES, AND OBJECTIVES

Lackawanna College Athletics is seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to serve as Professional Game Day Staff. These part-time positions support the successful operation of home athletic events and will require evening and weekend availability based on varsity sports schedules throughout the academic year.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Game Day Staff members play an important role in delivering a first-class experience for student-athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators. Responsibilities may include:

• Operating game clocks and scoreboards.
• Maintaining official statistics during athletic contests.
• Assisting with live streaming and broadcast production.
• Managing game operations technology and event timing.
• Supporting event setup and breakdown.
• Assisting with game administration and other duties as assigned.

Assignments may include events for sports such as mens and womens basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, soccer, and other intercollegiate athletic programs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• General knowledge of athletics and sports rules preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous game operations experience is a plus, but not required.
