Position Summary:
Assist the Director of Athletic Bands with coordinating recruiting initiatives, K12 outreach, and Athletic Bands alumni relations and events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work directly with the Director of Athletic Bands to program and logistic goals focused on:
Work with the Band Directors to achieve instrumentation goals and ensemble goals (numbers) through recruiting initiatives in coordination withthe Director of Athletic Bands and CU Music faculty/staff.
Coordinate Alum correspondence to perform at TBD basketball games when campus is closed for students in coordination withthe Director of Athletic Bands
Assist with coordinating recruiting displays at off campus Athletic Band events in coordination withthe Director of Athletic Bands
Coordinate with Directors Band-Education events in coordination withthe Director of Athletic Bands
Willing to step-in and direct the basketball pep band when needed.
Assist with athletic band program logistic when needed at TBD events.
Assist with the partnership of program logistics between Athletic Bands and the CU Instrumental Band Studies program.
Assist in developing and refining systems to organize, communicate, and archive the activities above.
Misc. duties called upon by the Director of Athletic Bands
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
Uphold and abide by Campbell University policies and procedures, including but not limited to Title IX, and Information Security, including but not limited to; HIPAA, FERPA and other state and federal mandates.
