4. Coordinates travel plans and schedules for coaches and staff related to recruiting operations
5. Supports the onboarding process for new student-athletes each term and manages NCAA
transfer portal data mining and communication to staff and coaches
6. Facilitates the ARMS recruiting pipeline process by forwarding all new recruits to staff and
coaches and creates and manages staff room recruiting board data
7. Organizes events such as team banquets, official visits, game day recruiting visits, and signing
day, including handling itineraries, hotel and meal reservations, transportation logistics, and
PSA campus welcome
8. Manages recruiting documents related to social media, electronic recruiting systems, and oncampus visit manuals
9. Maintains program databases with accurate contact, general, and institutional information for
coaches and administrators to use for communication and compliance purposes
10. Supports department leaders with travel and game day operations, including traveling with the
team and handling ticket operations, meals, and other necessary duties during away games
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES*:
¿ Knowledge of and ability to communicate NCAA rules and regulations and policies of the
University System of Georgia and Kennesaw State University
¿ Knowledge of graphics programs
¿ Able to compose and/or edit all forms of correspondence
¿ Stays update to date on relevant policies and procedures
Plans and implements program initiatives for the assigned college, department, and/or unit. Participates in the generation of program resources, communication, design and development of operating goals, objectives, and protocols. Serves as primary point for program implementation and operational matters. Provides technical, professional and programmatic guidance, consultation, and support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develops, plans and coordinates the implementation and execution of programs, special projects, events and other initiatives designed to achieve the overall mission, goals, and objectives of the assigned program(s) and/or department(s)
2. Oversees and administers all facets and activities related to day-to-day operations of the assigned program(s) and/or departments
3. Serves as liaison with internal and external clients on all matters relating to program and/or department activities
4. Provides, administers and/or coordinates the provision of technical guidance, consultation, related support to clientele within area of program focus
5. Assists with forecast projections and budget for each fiscal year and evaluates progress towards financial goals and may be responsible for the program or department¿s purchasing card (PCard)
6. Prepares and delivers presentations and collateral for program and/or department and events
7. Coordinates and administers the collection, compilation, and analysis of program activity data, prepares comprehensive program reports and evaluation summaries
8. May coordinate, administer and monitor social media presence and program outreach
9. May supervise and/or lead assigned staff and/or students assistants
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in related field
Required Experience
One (1) years of related work experience
Minimum Licensure/certification Required by Law and/or Institution:
Current, valid, and unrestricted driver¿s license
Preferred Educational Qualifications
An advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
Preferred Experience
Previous experience with program development and coordination
Prior experience in athletic environment
Previous experience in higher education
