The Project Manager is responsible for the assignment, organization, and management of various video-based projects across multiple sports at the University of South Carolina, to be distributed across a variety of platforms. Ability to take part in production of various projects as well as oversee and manage requested projects from inception through completion.

Student and Project Management: Acts as the point of contact for multiple sports and oversee requested projects from start to finish. This includes: managing the schedules and assignments of approximately 20 student interns; creating and maintaining comprehensive project/schedule documentation; managing deadlines for requested projects – ensuring all approved projects are delivered on-time and within scope; tracking student performance, working with department producers to develop students’ overall skill sets during assigned projects; being capable of stepping in to perform production duties if/when required

Responsible for the ideation, development, capture, creation and management of creative assets as needed. These include, but are not limited to, photo shoots, video shoots, and content organization. Produce content for a variety of sports in a variety of situations as directed by the Associate AD of New & Creative Media and coaches.

Manage department logistics as needed, including: internal credentialing for Creative Media staff and students (involves credentials for each member for football, men’s/women’s basketball, baseball and other events/sports as required); ensuring correct and consistent archiving of content and projects. Organize footage for editing, organize/rename files and saving footage to appropriate folders for easy and organized access, back up footage to hard drive.
