Position Description:
The University of Louisville Athletic Department is seeking a highly motivated Seasonal Assistant Sport Scientist. The successful candidate will lead an initiative to establish a new athlete management system (AMS) for the UofL Athletics Health & Performance department. This role will involve extensive collaboration across all health and performance disciplines to determine the most important insights that can maximize athlete health, performance, and wellbeing. In addition to making data readily available through the AMS, the Seasonal Assistant Sport Scientist will be asked to assist with data collection using various technologies, and to address key health and performance questions by assisting with a broad array of data science and performance analytics procedures. This position will report to the Sport Science Coordinator, and will receive a salary of ~$3,950.00 per month.
