The Quality Control Assistant is responsible for providing assistance in the preparation and execution of football operations with respect to practice, game day, film, and recruiting. The Quality Control Assistant reports to the Head Coach.

Job Duties

| Job Duty Name | Essential Duties | | Description of Job Duties |
- Assist with any walk-on unofficial visits to campus to include building prospect sheets and respective films, as well as provide feedback on PSA’s to position coach. - Assist in practice preparation to include drawing scout cards, running the scout team, and assisting with any practice needs. - Assist with gameday duties including charting and reporting opponent tendencies as well as providing analytical insight and analysis to the head coach from the press box. - Assist with film breakdown to include analysis and input of opponent breakdown and practice data. - Input recruitment prospect sheets to include prospective student athletes and respective films, as well as provide feedback on PSA’s to position coach. - Assist with any unofficial visits and official visits on campus. - Perform other duties as assigned. |

Qualifications

- Must be able to effectively use editing software. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are imperative. - Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures. - Employee shall adhere to all applicable rules and regulations of the University, the Conference, and the NCAA. | | Required Education |
Bachelor’s Degree. | | Required Work Experience |
One (1) year of football coaching experience OR four (4) years of collegiate football playing experience. | | Preferred Qualifications |
Strong background in the use of Hudl. | | Required Certifications, Licenses or Registrations |
Must have a valid driver license, driving record that is insurable by UIW insurance carrier, and be at least 21 years of age, as required to drive for UIW. | | Work Hours |
20 hours per week within standard hours of Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm, to include some evenings and weekends based on team needs. | | Physical Demands |
Typical for position in Athletics, to include exposure to Texas weather conditions. |
