Job Summary:
The Recruiting Information Services Assistant will play a vital role within the Bucknell Department of Athletics & Recreation's External Relations Team.
This is a 12 month, staff, non-exempt (hourly), benefits eligible position scheduled to work 37.5 hours per week.
Job Duties:
40% - Recruiting Assistance
· Aid head coaches in various recruiting tasks, including communications with prospective student-athletes and their families.
· Assist in maintaining databases and records related to communications, donors, and recruits.
40%-Athletic Communications Support
· Coordinate the scheduling and timely publishing of content across social media channels.
· Collaborate with the communications team to ensure timely and accurate dissemination of information
· Organize, catalog, and maintain photo/video and digital assets. Ensure proper storage, labeling, and retrieval of footage. Manage backups and archives.
· Provide technical support to the creative team, including but not limited to using editing software, and social media platforms.
· Ensure that all content adheres to copyright laws, licensing agreements, and brand guidelines. Perform quality checks before publishing
20% - Bison Club Assistance
· Support the Bison Club team with drafting EMMA emails to alumni, parents, and friends.
· Assist in managing correspondence, including thank-you letters, acknowledgments, and donor updates.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous experience in athletics communications, fundraising, or related fields is desirable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media platforms.

16.00-19.05
The offer rate will be based on a review of the candidate's credentials compared to the qualifications of the position, internal equity, and our overall compensation philosophy.
This role is not budgeted for visa sponsorship at this time, all candidates must be authorized to work in the US at the time of submission of the application.
