Position Summary

A Safety & Special Team Coach entails overseeing and coordinating the special teams unit of a football team. The role focuses on managing the players responsible for kicking, punting, returning, and coverage on field goals and punts. A Safety & Special Team Coach must possess a high level of strategic thinking, game planning, and effective communication skills to ensure the team’s special teams unit operates at peak performance levels. Candidate must be committed to student-athlete academic progress. Candidate must comply with

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of Coaching Experience

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experience in a Division II football program or High School. Prior experience in a Safety & Special Team Coach. Proven ability to recruit quality student-athletes. Experience in a diverse environment. Excellent organization and communication skills
