Minimum Requirements:
Five years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and work experience. NATA/BOC certified or certification eligible. Good standing for licensure as an Athletic Trainer by the KY Board of Medical Licensure and CPR/AED Certification.
Position Description:
The University of Louisville Athletic Department is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Seasonal Assistant Athletic Trainer for the 2024-25 academic year. The sport assignment shall be with Football. Seasonal Assistant Athletic Trainers provide healthcare services for their assigned team, including but not limited to: injury prevention and evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation, practice/event coverage, physician referral, medical appointments. Seasonal Assistant Athletic Trainers will be asked to participate in a mentorship program and may be assigned professional development tasks during their tenure. This position will report to the Senior Director of Sports Medicine or his/her designee. Position is a monthly/salaried position earning $3,956.33 per month.
