department of Athletics is seeking several Pirate club operations interns
Compensation:
$12 per hour (includes 240-hour internship for class credit if needed)
Hours:
20-30 hours weekly. Required to work
ALL
home football games. The Pirate Club office is open 8 AM – 5 PM, Monday – Friday. Hours worked by the intern will vary.
Requirements:
All interns are required to work office hours each week. Office hours will accommodate all school commitments. In addition to office hours, all interns are
required
to work all home football games. If you will not be available for a football game, we will need to be made aware during the interview process. Please note that there is a home game over Thanksgiving break this year.
Responsibilities:
Preparation of event spaces for Pirate Club special events and home football and men’s basketball game days.
Enforce Athletics rules and regulations to ensure the safety and maintain the exclusivity of all Pirate Club events and game day hospitality areas.
Assist with the setup, breakdown, and serve as a point of contact for various Pirate Club events and game day hospitality areas.
In-office tasks including email communication, proofreading, document preparation, scanning, taking gift orders, mailing letters, etc.
Assist with answering the Pirate Club main phone line and assisting guests with questions, comments, and concerns in a professional manner.
Management of game day hospitality areas for Pirate Club donors including a staff of 35-40 game day workers.
Oversee all Pirate Club events décor and supply inventory.
Recruiting and hiring Pirate Club game day workers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
