Position Overview

The University of Evansville, a member of the Missouri Valley Conference, invites applications for a Senior Associate AD for Athletic Communication. This position will serve as the primary sports information departmental contact for multiple sports. This position will be directly responsible for coordinating the publicity and promotion effects of the University of Evansville Athletics. Nights and weekend work requried as necessary with some travel expected.

Responsibilities Include

• Oversee the Athletic Communications department
• Design and edit publications and assist with other graphic design projects within the athletics department using InDesign and Photoshop
• Assist in promoting UE Athletics and programs through social media platforms
• Coordinate press releases, publications, statistical information, community interest stories
• Update content on GoPurpleAces.com
• Serve a pivotal role in shaping the narrative of our athletic programs both locally and nationally
• Develop strong rapport with local media, direct press box operations

Bachelor's Degree required; 5+ years of experience in Athletic Communications.

Nights and weekends required as necessary; some travel is required.
