Job Duties

The Senior Director Student-Athlete Academic Services will be working with and responsible for the academic progress, scheduling, and monitoring for a caseload of student-athletes, particularly focusing on Men’s Basketball/Track. – Essential
The Senior Director Student-Athlete Academic Services is responsible for scheduling and monitoring student-athletes’ study hall. - Essential
This position will teach one section of Foundations 101 for student-athletes. – Essential
The Senior Director Student-Athlete Academic Services will be responsible for hiring GA(s). – Essential

This position will also be the primary advisor for undeclared student-athletes within the assigned caseload and other duties as assigned by the Associate Director of Athletics for Compliance and Academics. – Essential
Work with various coaches and staff across campus to ensure student-athlete academic success. – Essential
Additional duties as assigned/needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and at least two year experience working in elementary, secondary or post secondary academics as a student, graduate assistant, or full-time employee.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree in education, counseling, sport management, college student personnel, or a related field. Five or more years of experience working in athletic academic support services.
