UCF Athletics - Football Administration
Reporting to the General Manager – Football and Chief of Staff - Football, position serves the football program in the analysis, negotiation and fulfillment of player management related contracts and activities within the framework of athletics, university, conference and NCAA rules and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Active engagement in the development and implementation of a salary cap at the individual, position group, and team’s aggregate level, to include the financial evaluation of positions / position groups relative to market considerations. Includes engagement in the tracking and cataloging of football student-athlete contracts
Daily oversight of team roster / scholarship numbers to ensure compliance with revenue share expenditures, cap management, and NCAA limits
Active engagement in the evaluation process for prospective and current student-athletes
Research, develop and maintain a professional and personal network of agencies and prospects towards the achievement of related goals and objectives
Develop / maintain strong professional relationship with assigned student-athletes (mentorship) to assist them with their personal / professional development throughout their intercollegiate football career. Includes learning about all people that are important to the individual and important dates / events / activities that could impact their personal / professional career. Actively monitor social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc) of assigned football student-athletes ensuring they represent UCF and UCF Football in an appropriate manner.
Daily management of player personnel and recruiting departments
Active engagement in football administration, providing logistical support to areas of need and within NCAA rules and regulations. Includes engagement with assigned tasks associated with roster management, recruiting, scouting, etc. Develops / maintains strong industry relationships as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four (4) years of appropriate experience
Appropriate graduate coursework or master’s degree may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous football experience (student-athlete, coach, administrator) at the collegiate level or higher
Ability to work in a team environment
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Salary:
