Graphic design management and oversight.
Direct and manage all graphic design projects that support the department’s brand strategy. These projects include but not limited to:
Sales collateral, advertising pieces, brand strategy components, marketing projects, website graphics and banners, social media graphics and special projects as assigned.
Will work with direct report on developing graphic design solutions for all sales and branding strategies, and will assume the lead on all project timelines and deadline execution deliverables.
Assist in the creative process of developing and executing marketing campaigns through design components.
Oversee one to two student-assistant graphic designers with design assistance, project implementation and execution.
Maintain and update brand guidelines and style mandates for the department in accordance with the university policy.
Serves as quality control for brand specifications and proof reading for all projects.
Establish and develop relationships with outside vendors and production teams to ensure good partnerships.
Oversees social media graphic strategies, working with communication and marketing team.
Will be responsible for overseeing one (1) or two (2) student employees that will assist in all graphic projects.
Will create a systematic process for design projects that enable direct reports to understand timeline, production schedule, project overview and oversight.
Collaborate with the sponsorship team to assist in meeting client expectations.
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
One (1) ore more years of related experience in graphic design.
High energy and creativity with great attention to detail.
Two (2) or more years progressive design experience in athletics, sales, or marketing setting.
Experience with Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, and/or After Effects.
Experience in college athletics as a student-athlete, student coach, student employee in athletics or sports information.
Excellent graphic design/software skills in Adobe Creative Suite.
Ability to exhibit diplomacy and tact while protecting confidentiality.
Ability to work independently and be a motivated self-starter.
Ability to adhere to strict deadline schedule.
Excellent communication skills and service minded.
Ability to have the vision of graphic campaigns that meet sales or other measures of accountability for success.
General office space that is shared.
Minimal outdoor activity.
