Requirements
The Senior Manager of Marketing Services will support the Chief Commercial Officer’s work in building and growing with all aspects of the University’s commercial business including Athletics’ media, sponsorship, consumer products, ticketing, events, data/technology, University partnerships and NIL programs. This position will be responsible for all marketing planning/services/activation efforts in support Athletics and University partnerships in media, sponsorship, consumer products, ticketing, events, and data/technology. Additional duties include, but are not limited to:
Support annual and long-term strategic/tactical plans to support all University sales & marketing operations with focus on revenue growth, marketing platforms, media amplification, partner activation, and NIL integration.
Act as a liaison with the Athletics department, creating marketing plans in all sports for the Athletic Department and overseeing the execution of such plans for Men’s and Women’s Basketball (“MBB/WBB”).
Market and promote events involving the use of creativity, allocation of resources, and market analysis to increase awareness of and attendance at events.
Create for MBB/WBB, advising on all other sports the in-game activities, promotions, and an exciting atmosphere to enhance the enjoyment for attendees and improve the home field/court competitive advantage for Georgetown teams.
Work closely with the Director of Ticket Sales and Operations to ensure that all revenue and attendance opportunities are being maximized, overseeing various integrated promotional ideas, targeted group sales activities, highlighted promotional events, and other PR opportunities.
Oversee operations of the GUHoyas.com store, including inventory management, direct marketing, pricing, vendor management, and other tasks as deemed necessary.

The Sr. Manager will manage the advancement of Georgetown University and Georgetown Athletics revenue business initiatives through collaborative and dynamic strategies defined by the leadership of the Chief Commercial Officer to develop meaningful growth and sustainability across all verticals. Assisted by the Manager Partnership Activation and Client Services + Manager of Marketing and Game Promotions, and seasonal student/graduate assistants, the marketing services team interacts with senior and junior staff and contracted partners (MMR, ticket sales), to execute annual fulfillment plans which meet the requirements and obligations of contracted deliverables, including marketing platforms, media amplification and partnership activation.

The Sr. Manager will be the primary marketing contact for coaches and sport administrators. As such, the Sr. Manager will have significant interactions with the entire department. In addition, since the Capital One Arena is the home venue for men’s basketball, the Sr. Manager, in conjunction with the Associate Athletic Director for Operations and Facilities, will be a significant liaison between the Capital One Arena and the GU Athletics Department. The Sr. Manager will be the primary marketing contact for NIL activities with the official GU Collective and student-athletes As such, the Sr. Manager will have significant interactions with Hoyas Rising and student-athletes.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
6-8 Years of experience in a sports or entertainment marketing position; Some experience in an intercollegiate athletic environment, either as a student athlete or a staff marketing/sales role, is highly preferred
Proficiency with Excel, Access, PageMaker, and Photoshop
Strong written and interpersonal skills

Pay Range:
The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:
$54,616.00 - $100,493.33
Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.
