The Division of Enrollment Management at Rutgers University–New Brunswick (EMNB) is comprised of seven student-facing and administrative units: Undergraduate Admissions, the Office of Financial Aid, the Office of the Registrar, and the One Stop Student Services Center, as well as business, information technology, and strategy and analytics administrative teams. Through personalized, high-quality service, the office maintains accurate and confidential student records, supports registration, transcripts and verification, posting of grades and degrees, changes in residency, registration calendars, name and address changes, and awarding of diplomas, all while ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations. It provides and maintains essential processes and responds to inquiries with confidentiality and integrity for students, faculty, and administrators.
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Senior Program Coordinator for the Office of the Registrar within the Division of Enrollment Management. The Senior Program Coordinator at Rutgers University – New Brunswick will report to the Associate Registrar of the Office of the Registrar.Among the key duties of this position are the following: Provides assistance with certifying continuing academic eligibility for 800+ intercollegiate student-athletes. Will be involved in the NCAA and Big Ten certification process with athletic academic advisors, athletics compliance and University deans and departmental personnel. Assists with creating, reviewing, and updating degree audits to ensure proper academic certification is utilized to determine the eligibility status of student-athletes. Responsible for preparing reports and other statistical documents related to student-athletes. Assists with special programs, including but not limited to, ROTC and club sports on campus. Promotes a high level of customer service and requires comprehensive knowledge of NCAA and Big Ten eligibility requirements, associated student information systems, and other supplemental systems that provide data in order to successfully review student records and ensure proper academic eligibility.

Consistent with the current application of Rutgers Policy 60.3.22, this position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement.The flexible work arrangements outlined in Rutgers Policy 60.3.22 are part of a pilot program that is effective September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2024. Therefore, there is no guarantee that this flexible work arrangement will continue beyond that date. Flexible work arrangements are not permanent, are subject to change or cancellation and contingent on the employee receiving approval in the FlexWork@RU Application System. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree. At least two years of higher education experience related to NCAA certification or academic advising of student-athletes. Equivalent education, experience and/or training may be substituted for the degree requirement.
Knowledge and understanding of NCAA eligibility legislation. Demonstrated strong organizational skills, communication skills, and interpersonal skills. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Sensitive to cultural diversity and backgrounds. Proven ability to work effectively as a team member. Ability to analyze and interpret data and make independent decisions.
Master’s degree in higher education or related field. Three years of higher education experience related to NCAA certification or academic advising of student-athletes. Supervisory/management and/or leadership experience. Working knowledge of student information systems (including but not limited to CRM/Salesforce, Perceptive Content, SRDB, IMS), and Tableau. Experience working with diverse populations of students, staff and faculty desired.
Computer-based student record database system, NCAA Applications including LSDBi, Eligibility Center, and Transfer Portal. Experience with Tableau, Perceptive Content, Salesforce, and DocuSign, among other programs, would be beneficial.
Must be able to work some nights and weekends during peak periods.
