Senior Women's Administrator/Director of Academics
Assists the University’s intercollegiate athletics program to achieve the parallel goals of development of quality, competitive athletics teams and support of the individual educational goals of student-athletes through management of the personnel, budgetary, facility, and equipment resources available to the athletics program, development of policies and procedures designed to assure achievement of internally and externally established goals and objectives, and continuous evaluation of individual and unit performances toward achievement of those goals and objectives. Act as a spokesperson for women’s intercollegiate athletics, at professional meetings and on community committees and serve as the sport administrator for multiple men and women sport programs by providing leadership with goal setting, performance management. Serves as the sport administrator for multiple men and women sport programs by providing leadership with goal setting, performance management. Will monitor all Academic areas of advisement and improvement plans for athletes, help identify goals and develop educational plans to reach the athletes.
Bachelor’s degree with at least three years of Athletic and Academic experience or a combination thereof; possess knowledge in these area; ability to maintain a quality

Division I Program and demonstrate solid communications and customer service skills; must have knowledge of advising student-athletes to include rules and regulations governed by

; must be flexible and possess the ability to work well with all levels of
MVSU
faculty/staff; must have the ability to plan, organize and prioritize responsibilities; must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable by the University.
A Master’s Degree with emphasis in Sports Administration, Physical Education, Recreation or Education.
Lifting, Carrying, Stooping, Bending Squatting, Walking, Standing, Sitting, Climbing, Physical Coordination, Close and Distant Vision, Depth perception, Hearing, Cognitive Ability. Outdoor wet and humid weather conditions are common to this job.
