Summary of Job Duties: Individual will receive work orders from supervisor to perform a variety of painting projects or repairs; will provide a list of materials for projects from a review of building blueprints; will finish sheetrock in preparation for painting; lays out and prepares athletic fields for competition using a paint striping machine and performs other responsibilities as required or assigned. May require occasional after hour and weekend work.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications include ability to read and write with comprehension; plus five years of experience as a journeyman painter. Must be knowledgeable in the application of paint products and their proper uses. Must be proficient in the use of all tools, including spray equipment commonly used in the painting profession. Must be able to work at height off ladders and scaffolds. Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints and other building plans.
