Apply NowIowa State University is accepting applications for a Soccer Development Coordinator to support the NCAA DI women’s soccer program. The successful candidate will show a commitment to adhering to university, Big 12 Conference andNCAApolicies, procedures, and regulations. The position will report to the Head Coach and include the following responsibilities:
The position will contribute to an environment conducive to the well-being and academic success of the student-athletes and must establish and maintain effective interactions with the coaches, university community, alumni, media and the public.
The ideal candidates will have exceptional organization, decision making, database, and communication skills; a strong skill-set managing athlete performance tracking systems; and good working knowledge of soccer. Candidates are expected to be committed to multiculturalism and working with a diverse student body. Must be available and flexible to work evenings and/or weekends and to travel with the team to assigned competitions.
*Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an on-going basis without sponsorship.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree.
Experience coaching soccer at a highly competitive level.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience coaching for a NCAA collegiate soccer program.
Strong experience preparing soccer athletes for performance/competition in groups and individually.
Experience with film breakdown and scouting reports.
