Position Announcement

The UVU Department of Music invites applicants for Pep Band student musicians. Students who are approved for the ensemble by audition will rehearse with the Pep Band and perform at assigned games in support of student athletics. Other campus support performances may be assigned by the instructor and will be listed in the syllabus. Students are paid $40 per game and must take MUSC 334R for every semester they work. Students must be proficient on their instrument(s) and available for rehearsals and performances. Before completing this application, contact Dr. Ramos (christopher.ramos@uvu.edu) to schedule an audition. This listing is for student employees who work on campus already.

Minimum Qualifications

• Enrollment in Pep Band MUSC 334R
• Experience in instrumental ensemble settings
• Successful audition with ensemble director

Preferred Qualifications:
Applied lessons on an instrument (may perform on secondary instrument(s) in the Pep Band)
