Monmouth University is seeking applications for a Behavioral Health Specialist.
The candidate would be expected to: Assists in providing holistic behavioral health and wellness support related to performance improvement of student athletes, including services focused on response to injuries, rehabilitation, compliance, communication, team building, identity and career transitions. This position reports to the Director of Athletics for day-to-day operations and overall administrative supervision, in addition this position will consult with the Sport Psychologist and the Counseling and Preventative Services Department related to emerging concerns and patterns presenting within the student-population.
This is an in-person, on-campus, non-remote position.

Master's degree
Master’s degree in counseling psychology, psychology, clinical social work or a related field.
Knowledge of the developmental and adjustment issues relevant to student-athletes.
Direct experience in assessment of and in the treatment of behavioral health, preferably related to mental performance coaching.
Must be able to maintain and work evening and weekend office hours on occasion.
