The University of Iowa Department of Athletics seeks applications for a Sports Dietician, Sports Nutrition. This is a full-time (probationary and FLSA-exempt) position which includes full University benefits. The University of Iowa is an NCAA Division I institution and a member of the Big Ten Conference. Responsibilities: The Sports Dietitian is responsible for the day-to-day nutrition provision for the student-athletes, developing strategies to enhance nutritional offerings and improve operational efficiencies, supervising and managing workforce of students and volunteers, and assisting the Director of Sports Nutrition with developing, coordinating, and administering comprehensive evidence-based nutrition services to student-athletes as a member of a multidisciplinary sports medicine and sport performance teams. This position requires frequent travel, work in the evenings, on weekends and holidays, a valid U.S. driving license, and the ability to meet the University of Iowa Driving Program standards.
