This position will oversee assigned fuel zones regarding proper food safety & adherence to UK Performance Nutrition Standards. This position will be responsible for maintaining par levels and managing the budget of the Olympic sports fuel zones. The employee will be responsible for maintaining food safety standards from federal, state & local agencies. The employee will counsel athletes with regard to calorie needs, recovery from training & injury as assigned by supervisor. This position will supervise student volunteers & dietetic interns. This position will assess and analyze dietary practices, body composition, and energy balance of student athletes in the context of athletic performance and health & provide appropriate Medical Nutrition Therapy as needed.
