Job Description
The Sports Dietitian at The Ohio State University will help oversee all aspects of nutritional needs as it pertains to player education, meal plans, menu building, team travel, practice monitoring, hydration, supplement review, and body composition. This position works in a creative and collaborative team environment where change is embraced and innovation is encouraged. This role requires building quality relationships and trust with student-athletes in a professional, high-performing environment. This position will report to the Assistant Athletic Director for Performance Nutrition.

Master's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in clinical nutrition, food and nutrition, or related area, granted from a U.S. regionally accredited college or university. Completion of a didactic program in dietetics and supervised practice program approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) of the American Dietetic Association. Minimum of 2 years of experience in nutrition counseling, preferably with emphasis on football sports nutrition. Certification/License: Registered Dietitian with active registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association; Certification/Licensure as required by state of practice. Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) preferred but mandatory as long as applicant is pursuing.
