Job Summary/Basic Function
The Sports Editor is responsible for the assignment, delegation, and coverage for the sports section of the newspaper. The Sports Editor assigns and edits articles, recruits new sports writers, and reviews the sports section during production.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be making Satisfactory Academic Progress.Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours.
Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate will be competent in grammar and Associated Press Style, ability to work well with others, knowledge of Shepherd athletic programs.
