Job Description:
Longwood University invites qualified applicants to apply for the position of Sports Field Maintenance Worker/Trades Technician II (00035) in Landscaping and Grounds. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing maintenance of sports facilities and equipment. This includes, but not limited to knowledge of natural grass and artificial turf, baseball and softball clay/infields, irrigation, field painting/lining, and equipment used in those areas. This position will be responsible for working athletic games on evenings and weekends. This position is considered to be emergency personnel, and must report to work or be called in due to inclement weather, in the case of emergency, staff shortage, etc.
