Additionally, you may serve as the primary contact regarding media relations for selected teams directed by the Associate Athletic Director for Communication and Public Relations.

You will serve as a primary statistician at select events, including football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, baseball, softball, and tennis; oversee and schedule the student photography team for home athletic events; maintain, organize, and manage the photography library for use within the athletic department and in the Sports website backend.

Qualified candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree in communications, sports management, or a related field and two to three years of related experience is required. Fiscal management, program coordination, and computer skills, specifically spreadsheet, social media, and web design are required. Must have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Must have strong time management and organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Preferred applicants will have a master’s degree in communications, sports management, or a related field and five years of related experience.
