POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
This is a part-time, 10-month position. For part-time employees, total hours worked must be equal to or less than (29) hours per week. Upon a successful evaluation, you will be considered for contract renewal. Evening and weekend work is required as job duties demand.

A part-time assistant working in the Sports Information Office needs to be an enthusiastic, detail-oriented individual who has knowledge of the 18 varsity sports offered to the students at Ramapo College.

DUTIES
Some of the major job responsibilities include: official scorekeeper, game announcer, statistician, web master, designer (game programs, promotional fliers, etc.), merchandise sales, and Game promotions. Part-time assistants must be available to work nights and weekends.
Live Stream/Play-by-Play
PT assistants should know how to run and operate the live stream system from set up to breakdown, including the setup of single and multi-video camera angles. They need to know how to set up the live stream from the back-end of the website for each game. Activate streaming software, test it before the start of the event, and display advertisements and commercials at appropriate timeouts. At the conclusion of the event, they will break down all equipment and store it appropriately. Play-by-play and color commentary present at games and events, where appropriate.
Game Announcer:
The game announcers are responsible for announcing the starting line-ups, substitutions, goals, assists, etc., at each home event. Responsible for PA announcements for sponsors and NCAA and NJAC Codes of Conduct.
Game Promotions
Part-time assistants are responsible for announcing and assistant in coordinator game promotions at half times, time outs, between innings or between double header games.

Bachelor’s Degree.
EXPERIENCE
Experience with NCAC rules and regulations for our 18 varsity sports as well as experience with statistical software and NCAA official scoresheets. Experience in updating the back end of a Sidearm Website and PA announcing.
