The Sports Medicine student assistant will work directly with the
MWSU
Sports Medicine department to assist in daily duties and practice/game coverages for assigned sport.
Assist with moving and setting up sports medicine equipment for games/practice. Includes breakdown and clean up.
Assist with observation of rehabilitation exercises with injured student-athletes.
Assist with stocking and keeping inventory of sport medicine supplies.
Assist with cleaning and disinfecting of athletic training room tables and other medical equipment.
Other duties or tasks assigned by Sports Medicine department staff.

General interest in Sports Medicine or working towards Athletic Training degree
Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
