Alabama State University, Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, invites applications for the position of Sports Performance Assistant. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, and managing individual and group strength training programs for men's and women's student-athletes participating in intercollegiate athletics under the associate athletic director of sports performance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, or Physical Education, 2 years of experience developing and managing sport specific individual and group strength training programs for men and women, certified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association or a Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association. College level experience is preferred.
